Our very popular high quality slimline LED picture light has the latest high CRI LED technology.
With the new high CRI (90+) LEDs you get the same excellent warm white colour with no harmful UV but with even more fantastic colour rendering, bringing out and enhancing the picture subject.
With a variety of dimming methods including the very popular 0-10V with a potentiometer option. This means you can adjust and set the light level at installation meaning every time you switch the picture light on the is lit to the desired level and effect.
A very slim profile gives a minimal viewing angle whilst low glare is achieved with deep recessed LEDs. Height adjustable, 90deg tilt head and custom lengths make this a very flexible and effective picture light.

Getting the right solution to lighting artwork is something we at Brilliant Lighting are very passionate about. We offer a range of picture lights: the Slimline 24V version is very discrete.
Fixing Options
Brackets are either fixed to the wall or directly to the back of the picture. These allow the LED picture light to be height adjustable, and it gives you more flexibility around cabling. You don't need to decide in advance what size of picture you're going to hang in that particular location.
It also enables you to locate the driver behind the picture (see below for more information).
LED Colour Options
2700K - a lovely warm white, generally recommended.
3000K - still a warm white, but slightly cooler. Potentially an option for a painting with 'cool' colours, and when the wider ambient lighting is fairly cool coloured.
Driver Options
N.B. To be used with 24V constant voltage LED Drivers and Controllers.
Each picture light needs either:
- A Non-dim (switched) driver. You just need a standard 240V power supply to the driver.
- A 0-10V dimming driver with dimming potentiometer (twiddly switch to adjust the light levels up and down), this is our most popular option where a control system is not in place as it gives you the flexibility to set the light levels of each picture individually. You just need a standard 240V power supply to the driver.
A Phase/Mains dimmable driver (trailing/leading edge) to use with a rotary style dimmer. You will need the standard 240V power supply
- A DALI or 0-10V dimming driver - by special request. Please call if you'd like to specify a 0-10V or DALI driver to use with a control system eg. Lutron. It needs a 0-10V or DALI cable between the driver and dimming module, in addition to the 240V power supply.
All types of driver need to be located within 10m of the picture light. The driver is typically located behind the picture, either tucked in behind the frame or in a double backbox recessed in to the wall. Alternatively, the driver may be located up to 10m away, somewhere ventilated and accessible.
