A clean and modern square downlight with a black insert giving the appearance the LED is sat much further back than it really is.
Totally customisable with choices of LED colour, lenses, IP rating all with great dimming performance.
As standard the light engines typically deliver 1013 lumens with a CRI of 98. The LEDs used within the Origin range give exceptionally high colour rendering and the best red rendering, CRI: 98 & R9: 99. Reds are highly important in accurate representation of many colours including true whites.
The Vira differs from most of the Origin range as the square insert is always black but you can still customise the outside of the light fitting (the bezel) and the inner ring (the baffle) giving you a real chance to create something unique to your project.
One driver is required per fitting. Select your driver from the list of options.
Unusually the Origin range of fittings can be dimmed well without using a lighting control system: use the recommended mains trailing edge driver and a recommended Quad rotary dimmer (more details are given after you have added fittings to your Basket).
Longevity is achieved with very good thermal management: the fittings have a 70,000 life expectancy and a 5 Year fitting warranty.

Flexibility
The Vira provides freedom to customise every spotlight individually. As well as being able to choose the LED colour and lens angle you can also choose the IP rating of the fitting meaning you can achieve the same look throughout even if the fittings are within different IP zones. The unique IP rating on an adjustable downlight is achievable by the use of a flexible rubber seal a ‘gaiter’
Finishes
Available in a range of standard and bespoke finish options for the whole luminaire. Standard White is RAL9010 fine texture with 20% gloss and there is an option of Black RAL9005.

Driver options
Drivers can be located behind the downlighters cut-outs in the ceiling void, but take care to leave adequate void space around both fitting and driver. With an appropriate driver the fitting is dimmable via mains trailing edge, 0-10V and DALI or non-dim.

With 0-10V and DALI dimming you will need a lighting control system (for example Lutron)
