The LD43 is a miniature recessed LED uplight with minimal depth and small cable, ideal for interior applications, including bathrooms.  Featuring a flush glass and walkover bezel for in-ground use, the LED and optics are recessed 10mm into the body for low glare.

Various glare shield and tilt film options are also available for glare reduction and to create lit effects to suit individual applications. This includes aperture reductions of 50% or 70%, with or without an integral 20° tilt film, which focuses the light onto the lit surface for a concentrated lit effect.

For a miniature fitting, LD43 produces an excellent throw of light when more output is required.  LD43 is not suitable for external in-ground applications.

Technical Info

LD43 is a miniature recessed walkover LED uplight with flush glass and shallow depth with the LED set back to reduce glare. To get the perfect results to suit your application you choose the product attributes (eg - output, beam width etc) The higher the current (mA) the fitting is run at the more light you will get.

The fitting uses a hidden fixing method with no screws.  This is achieved by either using the standard spring clips or the optional fixing sleeve ideal for solid flooring.

LD43 is IP66 rated from the front only meaning it is perfect for use in bathrooms and spas but not exterior applications. For exterior applications please use an alternative fitting for example LD41, LD56, LD60, LD43DR.

With delivered lumens of 122 (when run at 500mA) and a CRI of 93 the quality of light is excellent and longevity is achieved with very good thermal management. LED lifetime (to 70% lumen maintenance) 50,000hrs at a max ambient temperature of 35°C.

Driver options

The LD43 is a constant current fitting which requires a driver to run it, drivers can run multiple fittings but fittings must be wired in series.  With an appropriate driver the fitting is dimmable via 0-10V, DALI and Mains leading/trailing edge or non-dim. Please select dimming type on options tab above and that will take you through to a page detailing how many fittings you can run per driver.


Installation Notes

The fittings should be wired in series and the cable run between the driver and the fitting should not exceed 10m. The driver should be located somewhere discrete, allowing air movement and be accessible for maintenance
